Microblading can last anywhere from one to three years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and the products that you use. However, touch-ups are commonly needed about once a year, especially for those with oily skin, as the ink tends to fade and blur faster.
At your microblading appointment, the area of your brow is sanitized and numbed, then eyebrow shape is drawn on in consideration of your face symmetry and age. Our technician will consult with you on the pigment of the ink she will use and together you will decide on the color you desire.
Then, she will proceed to drawing on the strokes. After the eyebrows are finished, she applies an aftercare ointment to help heal and a follow-up appointment is scheduled in four to six weeks.
Immediately following the treatment, the brows will be darker and slightly red, but the redness and the pigment will slightly fade in color as the brows heal. Infection is always possible but unlikely if post-procedure care is performed as per instructions. We use disposable products to minimize risk.
